Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £95 - £105 per day

GSL Education is currently searching for an experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding rated Early Years provision School in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in addressing students' educational and social needs.
- Provide 1:1 support to a student with complex needs.
- Emphasise the development of social, life, and communication skills in lessons, activities, and group sessions.
- Collaborate with two learners with complex needs and a lead teacher.
- Assist in planning and preparing learning activities, resources, and materials for the EYFS curriculum.
- Support in conducting assessments and maintaining records of each child's development and progress.
EYFS Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- We encourage individuals aspiring to work in pastoral roles, including child psychologists, educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, SALTs, counsellors, graduates, and social workers, to apply.
- Prior experience in a support role within a school or child-related setting.
- A compassionate and professional attitude, with enthusiasm for assisting with personal care for students.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
