Transport Coordinator Wanted in Plymouth!
£30,000 per annum plus bonus
Early shift Monday - Friday
Our client is a thriving engineering company based in the beautiful coastal city of Plymouth and are looking for a highly experienced Transport Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of engineering materials and equipment to various locations in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and distribute shipping documents for all transportation of materials and equipment
-Meet and greet drivers, checking all paperwork is complete and accurate
-Act as the main point of contact for all drivers, providing them with necessary information and addressing any concerns they may have
-Record accurate arrival and departure times for all drivers
-Ensure all data is recorded and maintained accurately in our transportation system
Required Skills and Experience:
-Experience in logistics, warehousing, and/or transport
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Experience with transportation systems and document preparation
