A great opportunity has arisen for the position of Business Analyst at our Manton Wood site to support our Food For Now Portfolio team.

The location of this role can be flexible, however you will be expected to attend our site in Worksop 2 days per week.

What you'll be doing

As a Business Analyst you will collate, support and influence the analysis of commercial data in order to drive portfolio improvements and more informed business decision making. Lead and support the financial objectivity of the Portfolio team though utilisation of business tools.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support the monthly IBP process with preparation of relevant materials and data driven decision documents.
  • Lead and facilitate the PLR process to validate project performance across all key metrics. Capturing key learnings for consideration across all future projects and sharing across relevant site, portfolio and customer teams.
  • Feed key PLR outputs, learnings, and next steps into monthly IBP reporting and up to commercial review.
  • Lead in range performance analysis and flag any concerns across our portfolio.
  • Supporting portfolio management team in conducting project investigation work, broader portfolio improvement initiatives and providing necessary analysis, review, and recommendations.
  • Deputised in the absence of the Portfolio Manager to ensure the continuation of all BAU processes.
  • Alignment and implementation of cross functional ways of working and supporting portfolio management team across portfolios in driving maximum cross functional consistency in our processes.
  • Deep dive into costings from site and across the group to ensure we are winning new business - understanding cost drivers, ensuring visibility when tendering for new business and allowing comparison between sites.

What we're looking for

We are keen to see applications from individuals who are highly numerate, with experience working analytically in a commercial data driven environment.

Other key attributes:

  • Proficient in use of MS Excel and Data Management and Analysis tools
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Evidence of influencing skills and proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results.
