Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Electrical Project Coordinator to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Dublin

The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support & assist in the management of various Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting and M&E projects across our client's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our clients Security Department in all aspects of Contract/Project implementation as needed across multiple sites to ensure efficiency & effectiveness.
  • Liaising with Facilities Manager & Hard services Co-ordinator to schedule self-delivery PPM's Sub-Contractor PPM's & reactive works.
  • Work with the FM team to Manage Planned Maintenance schedules & resources for each building under Facilities team remit.
  • Overseeing procedures for contractor inductions for new contractors coming to site.
  • Foster a proactive approach to H&S & ensure work is always completed/managed to a high standard of safety.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of building services installations including HVAC/Electrical & other technical systems.
  • Attend Nationwide site meetings/surveys.
  • Reporting on a weekly basis to the clients Security department on project updates.
  • Coordinate onsite activities to ensure tasks are performed successfully & there is minimal disruption to operational activities.
  • Review Contractor RAMS, Coordinate & supervise Sub-Contractor access & work permit issue.
  • Ensuring CMMS Administrators are logging & updating site maintenance related tasks on eMaint & keeping of hardcopy file back-up off maintenance records.
  • Attending internal Security Project meetings.
  • Assisting Security department prepare progress reports and presentation materials.
  • Provide strong leadership relating to the delivery of all technical services required to support the delivery of the various Capital Projects.
  • Management and implementation of client site rules and regulations.
  • Management of compliance with client environmental & recycling policy.
  • Any other duties that may be reasonable required of you given the broad nature of the role and the time available.

General Administration:

  • Meeting support: assist in room bookings, lunches, equipment

Work Permits:

  • Ensure that all contractors entering site to carry out works have completed the appropriate work permit forms
  • Depending upon type of works sign off may be required by onsite technician

Helpdesk:

  • Log Helpdesk calls where required
  • Close out helpdesk calls for the site

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Good Electrical and Lighting system background with a recognised Electrical qualification
  • Relevant experience working within office/facilities management.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to take ownership of the role.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety policy & practice in an office environment desirable.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills, knowledge of and the ability to quickly learn. MS Office packages will be required.
  • Ability to implement procedures in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experience of setting up meeting logistics.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events, tasks and responsibilities and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to respond quickly and calmly to problems and transmit confidence and professionalism.
  • A professional and enthusiastic attitude and friendly disposition.
  • The ability to deal with confidential data.
