We are a vibrant, youth-focused organisation committed to transforming the lives of young people aged 8-19 (and up to 25 with additional needs) through a variety of enriching activities and support services. As a Charity Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward by securing essential funding and building long-term relationships with corporate partners. Responsibilities

  • �? Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate partners, businesses, and individual donors.
  • ?? Develop and present persuasive pitches and proposals to secure new corporate support.
  • ?? Create and implement effective engagement strategies to drive income and support for our organisation.
  • ?? Manage a pipeline of potential corporate supporters, ensuring they are kept informed and appreciated.
  • �? Coordinate fundraising events, stewardship campaigns, and attend networking opportunities to increase awareness and support.
  • ??? Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling fundraising materials.
  • ?? Utilise social media platforms to enhance our reach and spread awareness.
  • ??? Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and donor interactions.
  • ?? Take ownership of the supporter program, ensuring donors feel valued and informed.
  • ? Carry out additional tasks as reasonably requested by management.

Requirements

  • ? Proven experience in fundraising or related transferable skills.
  • ?? Ability to develop professional relationships and gather, understand, and present information clearly.
  • ??? Writes and speaks with ease, with a persuasive and enthusiastic approach.
  • ?? Self-motivated, action-oriented, and comfortable making financial requests.
  • �? Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • ?? Positive, punctual, and reliable, with a belief in the potential of young people.
  • ?? Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • �? Experience in delivering effective engagement and cultivation strategies for major donors or clients.
  • ?? Knowledge of fundraising techniques, trends, and best practices.
  • ?? Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines for fundraising activities.
  • �? Experience working in a target-driven environment.
  • ?? Understanding of donor motivations and the ability to tailor communications effectively.
