Assistant Management Accountant - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Leicester - up to £35,000 per annum
Macildowie Finance are excited to be working on a brilliant opportunity with a well-known, well-respected manufacturing business who are a leading player in their industry.
This role is on a 12 month FTC basis, based at their Leicester office.
My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team, as this role will be key in providing essential accounting support and report preparation.
Some of the key responsibilities:
- Analyse and reconcile weekly financial reports, including P&L statements,
- Produce and maintain the Daily Labour Report,
- Reconcile the Sales to forecast for the P&L,
- Assist in understanding and reporting on P&L variances,
- Prepare monthly labour reconciliation files for analysis
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar, month end focused role is necessary
- Confidence and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in both finance and non-finance
- Excellent attention to detail
- CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified ideal, but not essential
