Our client, a charity with offices based in both Croydon and Wimbledon are seeking to recruit a HR Processes & Systems Specialist.

This is a hybrid permanent opportunity, 2 days in the office and 3 from home. Our client is also open to this role, being full-time (37.5 hours over 5 days) but they are open to flexible working, such as condensed hours over less days or a 0.8 FTE.

The key focus for this role is to optimise the performance of all people systems and maintain excellent processes, gather, and produce data to make recommendations based on performance metrics. Our client uses Iris Cascade for all HR & Payroll processing including their recruitment applicant tracking system. All people information is held on one system.

Role purpose: To play a key role in the People and Culture team developing and maintaining high quality comprehensive people focused services. To act as a key partner who provides professional advice and customer focused services to managers and colleagues across the organisation to optimise the performance of all people systems, build and maintain excellent processes, gather, and produce data to make recommendations based on performance metrics

Typically, this role will involve:

  • Communicating with Managers & Colleagues by phone, email or face to face, giving policy/entitlement advice and ensuring they can access and effectively use HR systems and processes
  • Running reports from the system to ensure data is accurate and working with colleagues and managers to correct/update
  • Using reports and data to monitor and make recommendations on Key Performance Indicators such as absence, staffing levels and labour turnover
  • Providing reports and data to the Payroll Officer to ensure colleagues are paid accurately
  • Inputting to project work in conjunction with operations colleagues and providing employee relations support/advice

About you

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Word and Excel to intermediate/advanced level
  • Experience of working with HR software (IRIS Cascade desirable but not essential) as a system administrator including reporting, screen configuration, data cleansing and system design, updates/upgrades
  • Experience of producing and analysing key people data, with detailed commentary, performance metric reports
  • Experience of producing and using people data as evidence to support business change activities and improvement projects
  • Detailed knowledge of application of statutory legislation in relation to HR and Payroll and experience of implementing systems and processes to ensure compliance
  • Experience of working in an HR environment and providing generalist HR support to managers
