We are now seeking a highly skilled an Interior Designer to join their team in Glasgow.

Role

As a Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in their design studio, overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of hospitality projects. Your creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills will be crucial in delivering outstanding designs that align with our client's vision. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of designers and industry professionals, working on exciting projects that span restaurants, bars, and other hospitality venues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from concept development through to project completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Utilise your extensive experience in hospitality design to create innovative and captivating interior spaces that reflect the brand identity and enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into the design development process.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to source materials, furnishings, and finishes that meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the smooth execution and successful delivery of design projects.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating them into the design process to push the boundaries of innovation and creativity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality projects.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering high-profile, projects from conception to completion.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD and photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to hospitality design.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail, exceptional spatial awareness, and a deep understanding of materials, finishes, and furnishings within the hospitality sector.
