salary up to £30,000

(SO14) hybrid working (permanent)

Our client, a reputable law firm based in Southampton are seeking a skilled Finance Administrator to provide operational cash administration support to the finance function and the firm's associated businesses.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a cash operations/treasury function
  • Prior experience with 3E and Elite Enterprise is advantageous
  • Proficiency in desktop programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

  • Record outgoing/incoming payments in financial records and post other financial transactions as required
  • Process payment requests to ensure swift and accurate service to our business and key suppliers
  • Liaise with partners/fee earners to ensure accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of client monies in accordance with local regulations
  • Prepare client monies statements for review and approval by the Senior Finance Administrator
  • Complete daily cash reconciliations and reports for all relevant currency accounts and entities
  • Document and maintain desktop procedures in accordance with the group's framework
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify, support, and implement system/process improvements
  • Support the Senior Finance Administrator in managing unallocated cash, ensuring all cash is allocated in a timely and accurate manner in line with group policy
