Specialist Support & Administration Executive - Travel Industry

Our client, a premium travel company specialising in luxury self-guided driving tours, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Specialist Support & Administration professional. This role is crucial in supporting seamless operations, from reservations and vehicle logistics to supplier management and after-sales support.

Specialist Support & Administration Executive - What will I be doing?

  • Reservations & Logistics: Collaborate with the Sales Team post-booking to ensure all itinerary details are accurately captured. Manage in-house vehicle reservations and prepare client documentation.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain and update supplier information, including rates, commissions, and payment processes. Foster strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Document and refine business processes. Manage a knowledge database to streamline operations and reduce reliance on senior management.

Specialist Support & Administration Executive - What experience do I need?

  • It is essential that you have worked in a support / administration / operations role within the travel industry before.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing bookings, supplier information, and documentation.
  • System Proficiency: Experience with reservation and logistics software is highly desirable.
  • Tech-Savvy: Ability to leverage technology to optimise processes.
  • Process-Oriented: Experience in developing and implementing efficient workflows.
  • This role is ideal for a meticulous professional looking to contribute to the smooth operation of a leading luxury travel brand.

Specialist Support & Administration Executive - What else do I need to know?

This role can either be a hybrid role in the York area or a remote role if you were happy to travel to the office regularly. The hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30. salary is dependent on experience.
