Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Altrincham / Hybrid (2-3 days WFH)
Salary: £25-27k
We are recruiting for market-leading multi-channel retail group with combined turnover of over £50m+ with ambitious plans for continued growth.
This accounts assistant role, focusses on cashbook activity.
Bank reconciliations and preparation and completion of monthly cashbook including:
- Completing daily and monthly reconciliation of all Bank receipts and payments.
- Liaising with branches to ensure that all required information is sent back to Head Office and chasing up missing paperwork as required.
- Reconciliation and balancing of monthly intersystem payments across accounting systems.
- Assistance to branches to help them identify till mistakes.
- Reconciliation of branch takings to cash/cheque/card payments received.
- Reconciliation of shop takings to retail ledger.
- Preparing and posting journals into accounting system.
- Other similar duties within the department as and when required.
