In this commercially focused role, you will continue to create firm data foundations across departments, ensuring clear and consistent reporting to enable data-led decisions to be made.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the move of data from siloed systems into the data warehouse using Rivery (data pipeline tool) and Snowflake (data warehouse) ensuring a solid data architecture that supports the data strategy for the business
  • Lead the team in building solid reporting foundations across ecom and all third party marketplaces
  • Use extensive SQL skills to extract and analyse data at a deeper level, identifying weak spots in the business and be able to drive changes
  • Work alongside the Senior Analytics Merchandising Manager to move buying and merchandising reporting into the data warehouse and automate reporting for that department
  • Lead the analytics agency in the move to GA4, ensuring that the marketing team has the data they need to drive paid channel performance. Deep dive into this data to understand issues with channels and resolve
  • Oversee all tag changes across the websites to ensure all data is captured in the right systems
  • Develop a customer insight reporting suite to support the marketing strategy.

About you:

  • Having experience of writing queries in SQL is essential.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL query writing to extract and transform data for reporting
  • Ability to work with large and complex data sets to find the story in the data
  • Experience of a data visualisation tool (ideally Tableau) and data story telling principles
  • Experience of leading and building a team
  • Ability to communicate, engage and adapt your approach with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Knowledge of GA4, GTM, Google ads and SA360 would be an advantage
  • High level of written English with ability to summarize complex ideas to a wide audience
  • Experience delivering reporting and analysis to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
