An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer in the Engineering & Manufacturing department of a leading firm within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling and overseeing project execution.

Description

  • Designing, developing and executing project schedules and plans.
  • Coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the team.
  • Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Communicating with stakeholders about project status and issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Preparing and presenting project reports to senior management.
  • Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.

Profile

A successful Planning Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven experience in project management within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Proficiency in using project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer

  • An attractive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
  • Days based rota, flexible start times. (core business hours 0800-1700)
