Paralegal

My client, a well known commercial law firm based in the City of London is a seeking a Paralegal, paying up to £26,600 plus benefits, to join their highly successful Real Estate Team.

The role will be hybrid working, 3 days in the office 2 days from home after a period of training.

The Paralegal position will sit within the Real Estate and Projects team focusing on plot sales and development. The aim will be to provide a high level of administration support to the companies solicitors and fee earners as well and assisting with the seamless delivery of a high level of customer service to the firms clients.

Duties will include the following:

  • Managing own caseload of high volume property sales, handling both shared ownership and outright sales
  • Assist and/or manage in relation to stair casing matters and residential acquisitions and disposals
  • Set up and maintain online document rooms
  • Provide clients with monthly or weekly progress reports and regular billing updates
  • Manage a large number of deadlines relating to a variety of transactions at any one time
  • Carry out legal research as and when required
  • Dealing with requisitions raised by HMLR
  • Organise and maintain accurate electronic files

The ideal candidate will come from a Legal Real Estate background and will be looking to pursue a career within this area of law. You will have expertise and knowledge of shared ownership as well as experience working closely with developers and housing associations. You will have a high level of detail and excellent drafting skills. Enjoying being the go to person in the team for administrative support.
