Production Planner
£30,000 - £35,000
Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing a long standing & well-established food manufacturer. You will be required to work across three factories, implanting and inventing a production schedule.
Responsibilities will include:
- As part of the planning team, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained so production teams are not waiting for materials.
- Maintaining stock targets and scheduling raw materials to meet the production plan.
- Ensuring medium to long-term forecasts are maintained to ensure product and material availability.
- Following up with suppliers regarding quality issues, rejections, and returns.
- Updating the schedules to include the latest sales information and production plans.
Requirements:
- Prior experience of working in a planning role, ideally in manufacturing with food/FMCG being preferred.
- Highly organised and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
