Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Machine Operator based in Newark, NG23.
Machine Operator Benefits:
- Location: Newark, NG23
- Pay: £12 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4.30pm
- Contract: Temp ongoing possibility of temp to perm
- On site parking
Machine Operator Duties:
- Working in factory operating machinery - full training will be provided.
- Working within a large production environment.
- Supporting Production Lines and working as a team ensuring deadlines are being met
- Lifting and manual handling required.
- Loading material into hopper
- Perform routine maintenance such as morning walk round checks on equipment used, and; reporting any damage/faults to management
- Grease shovel and other plant as part of maintenance checks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- General cleaning up of the yard
Machine Operator Criteria:
- FLT licence preferred but not essential (in house will be considered)
- Willingness to do a duel role in the factory operating machinery as well as yard work
- Previous experience as a machine operative preferred but not essential
- Must have a good work ethic and be hard working
- Professional and effective communication skills with colleagues
- Calm under pressure and proactive in solving problems
- Reliable, excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Flexible with the role and duties
- Excellent attention to detail
- Can work in a team and independently
- Excellent understanding and daily practice of health and safety at work
