Change & Engagement Manager

Pure are delighted to be working in partnership with the University of Cambridge Finance Division as they embark on an exciting Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT) Project which is highly significant and will have a University-wide impact. The project forms part of an overall Finance Transformation Programme (FTP).

We are currently recruiting a Change & Engagement Manager to join the team based at West Cambridge.

The Change Management Specialist will work with sponsors and teams to support change initiatives in meeting objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage.

This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business procedures, processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans (covering communications, training, sponsorship, the role of line managers, and resistance management) that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance. You will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes that impact staff to increase benefit realisation and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Experience with ERP systems is essential as is having worked within a finance division.

The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The aim of their approach is to enable as many staff as possible to work in a hybrid way if they wish and where their role allows.

This arrangement is subject to change and will not form a part of the contractual terms of the role. Funding for this post is available for 3 years in the first instance Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic disclosure and a security check.
