Description
- Develop and implement health and safety policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, compiling detailed reports with recommendations.
- Monitor and ensure the proper use of safety equipment across the site.
- Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities regarding compliance matters.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents.
- Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to integrate safety into operational practices.
Profile
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
- Professional qualifications in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent, TechIOSH or CertIOSH.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with staff at all levels.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Job Offer
- Salary of £37900, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours with a 2pm finish on Friday.
