Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Invoice & Billing Clerk to join their dynamic team on a short term interim contract to work through a backlog of unbilled invoices. The role will be paid hourly rate with a perm equivalent salary of £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end management of the invoicing process
  • Play a key role in improving financial operations by streamlining invoicing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth billing cycles

What you'll do:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely production of invoices, overseeing the end-to-end invoicing process from order to billing
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of invoiced data
  • Standardise invoicing models to ensure consistency and adherence to established billing standards
  • Foster a collaborative team culture, providing leadership to the invoicing team, finance assistants and junior staff
  • Develop comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track and monitor invoicing performance metrics

She is proficient in management accounting principles related to Work in Progress (WIP), Accrued Income, and Deferred Income. Her excellent communication skills allow her to convey complex invoicing concepts effectively, engage with stakeholders, and present reports clearly.
