Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial pumps and they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis to further their career in the Heart of Birmingham!
Annual Salary:
£32,000 to £35,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours:
Mon - Fri: 7.30am to 4pm
Duties of the Mechanical Engineer:
- Maintaining & repairing industrial sized pumps
- Proficient at using hand tools and machinery
- Must be able to read from engineering drawings
- Help with upkeep of the building when required
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Keep an accurate log of all work carried out
Experience & Skills:
- At least 5 years experience Mechanical Fitting or similar environment
- Willing to learn new skills
- Self-initiative
- Strong communication in a team
