Project Manager
This is a permanent role, and due to the nature of the projects all candidates must either hold valid SC clearance or be able to obtain in (Hold a a British Passport, and British residency for the last 5 years.)
Responsibilities
- Leading a number of project teams within a larger project.
- Experience creating and managing monthly budgeting/forecasting for the wider project.
- Monitor project performance using KPI's, forecast any delays in project deadlines and find solutions to mitigate these.
- Risk management, using a standard Risk Management Matrix
- Managing Subcontracts and Subject Matter Experts.
- Managing resources, both internal and external alongside a wider programmes team.
- Build and create good working relationships both internally and externally.
Key Experience
- Previous experience in a similar project management and/or programme management role.
- Proven experience in meeting demanding deadlines
- Experience of managing contractors and consultants on a large scale project.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Recognised project management qualification or certification (PRINCE2, APM, etc)
- Familiarity of working in an ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 environment
Some travel may be required within the UK and mainland Europe to visit key stakeholders.
