CDM Advisor

A highly regarded North East-based construction consultancy is looking for a proactive CDM Advisor to join their expanding team in Durham. The consultancy is known for delivering expert services across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, and public projects, with a strong focus on compliance with CDM regulations and health and safety standards.

The CDM Advisor Role

As the successful CDM Advisor, you will provide comprehensive advice on Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 to a variety of clients. You will work closely with design teams to conduct design risk assessments, assist in the preparation of pre-construction information (PCI), and review construction phase plans (CPP).

  • The CDM Advisor will play a key role in promoting safe working practices.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure that projects across the North East are fully compliant with the latest health and safety legislation.
  • This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects, with a focus on collaboration and professional growth.

The CDM Advisor

  • A solid understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
  • Previous experience in a CDM Advisor or related health and safety role
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
  • Membership of APS or IOSH is highly desirable
  • Experience in the construction industry, with a focus on safety and risk management
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
