Salary: From £34,500 per annum, pro rota on 29.6 hours p/week, with a 5% bonus

JOB DETAILS

My client is looking for a part-time HR Case Advisor to join their team.

This role works with their team of HR Business Partners, providing proactive employee relations case support. You will work with people managers to address issues across the business, spotting trends and sharing knowledge on individual cases to ensure best practice is developed and used.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing proactive, professional HR advice and guidance.
  • Building effective working relationships with your stakeholders across the business, including Trade Union representatives.
  • Assisting managers across the business, aiding them in their understanding and implementation of company policies in relation to your employment case portfolio.
  • Collaborating with managers and collating the required documentation to formulate hearing packs, or signposting managers to the correct templates and policies.
  • Attending formal case meetings, you will be responsible for taking appropriate notes and preparing relevant outcome documentation
  • Where there are points and elements of cases which increase risk to the individual and business, you will discuss appropriate action with the HR Business Partner Team and/or Employee Relations team providing early insight and offering options.
  • Briefing the HR team on the status of cases and approach being taken.
  • Supporting the wider community, you will provide valuable feedback and insight from your case work to enrich the data used in workshops, training, coaching and guidance to support development and growth.

Experience:

  • Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified and above, or working towards, or have demonstrable experience within a HR role with Case experience.
  • Essential previous experience in an HR or employee relations role with a good up to date understanding of employment law
  • Ability to interpret data, utilise dashboards to identify trends and maintain and monitor HR systems, all whilst ensuring the accuracy of data.
  • Strong experience with complex HR Cases and experience working with TU's.
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders such as senior leaders and trade union representatives, with good written and verbal communication skills.
