Position Overview:

As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional mortgage advice and support to clients. Working closely with the agency's experienced team, you will assist in guiding clients through the mortgage process, helping them secure the best financing options tailored to their needs. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience within the property industry while further developing your skills as a mortgage advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in understanding mortgage options, terms, and conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to determine client eligibility for mortgage products.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for mortgage applications.
  • Analyse and compare various mortgage products to recommend suitable options based on client requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on mortgage-related matters, including interest rates, repayment terms, and affordability.
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and mortgage products to ensure accurate and informed advice.
  • Support senior advisors in managing client relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to mortgage applications and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Mortgage Qualifications (e.g., CeMAP, CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the local real estate market and mortgage industry preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient computer skills and relevant mortgage software.
