AGT are looking for a friendly, approachable, and talented individual to provide top class customer service and excellent IT support from our office in St Annes, Lancashire.
Permanent - 37.5 Hours
Full Time - Monday To Friday - 9am - 5pm
Salary - (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Overtime Available - The ability to work evenings and weekends when required.

- A least 3 year's real-world IT experience (preferably with an MSP)

- LOVE giving friendly advice and personal support on all types of software and hardware.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Migrations - Moving on-prem to Azure or 365.
- IT Support to all users & clients, on site and remote,
- troubleshooting problems and providing ongoing support.
- Planning, maintaining & implementing cloud and premise-based infrastructure projects & solutions.
- Server and network administration along with Office/Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
- Configuring new office and computer equipment as necessary.
- Initiating new staff into IT basics and ensuring proper procedures are enforced
- Some out of hour's support will be required
- Support onsite and remote systems, Manage ongoing IT operations to ensure running smoothly and identify key areas for continuous improvement & optimisation.
- Administration of hardware (PCs, Servers, NAS, Firewall, switches, Printers, and other peripherals) and software such as Office apps, AV console, access control, Teams, etc.
- Take responsibility for initial diagnostics of software and hardware issues and arranging relevant repairs with 3rd party support.
- Work and liaise with 3rd party companies for additional support and on projects.
- Your role will be based at our office in Blackpool but Work from Home / Hybrid available after a 6 month probation.
The following skills and experience will give you an advantage:
- Experience in all Server, Desktop and Mobile Operating Systems.
- Strong Knowledge in Networking,Software and Hardware.
- Full Clean UK Driving License with Car (Pooled Vehicle available if needed)

- Backups - You appreciate the utmost importance of backups and have a working knowledge of backup software.
- Disaster Recovery - Server Failed? Virus? Hardware Failure - can you take the pressure and get it fixed?
- Network - IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, NAT, SSL, SNMP, AP, SSID, VOIP Understand these acronyms? Lets talk.
- Virtualization - Experience with HyperV and VMWare
- Server Installation and Migration - How quickly can you get a server up and running - show us!
