SEN Teaching Assistant - One-to-One Support
Location: Sheffield
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full time school hours 8.30-3.30pm
Start Date: As soon as possible on a long term on-going basis. May lead into a permanent opportunity.
Pay Rate: £90-£100 per day
Join a dynamic team at a primary school in Sheffield as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school, where you'll primarily be working one-to-one with a SEN children. This long-term role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the child's educational journey, providing tailored support and fostering an environment conducive to their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised support to SEN children in a mainsteam environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to implement and adapt learning materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
- Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN is highly advantageous.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learning needs.
- Effective communication skills, both with the child and the wider school community.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
