Italian Accountant

Our client require an Italian speaking accountant with experience of Italian payroll to start asap for a 3 month contract. Potential for temp to perm.

The Assistant Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. This role involves collaborating with the finance team to maintain financial stability and compliance.

  1. Financial Record-Keeping:
  • Maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into accounting software and spreadsheets.

  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records, including general ledger postings and bank reconciliations.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Preparation of financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets/reconciliations, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

  1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Compile annual budgets and forecasts, by providing financial data and reporting actual versus budget and variance analysis.

  • Report/monitoring budget performance and preparing budget reports.

  1. Audit and Compliance:
  • Lead and manage the internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and information as requested to external auditors.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

  1. Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare financial models and projections.

  1. Administrative Tasks:
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Finance department, such as providing documents and organising the safe-keeping of all records.

Assist local team and Group CFO with other accounting-related tasks as needed
