Day to day of the role:
- Lead and manage financial audits from planning to completion.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff.
- Review and assess clients' financial statements and internal controls.
- Provide recommendations for improving business processes and financial reporting.
- Liaise with clients to discuss audit findings and issues.
- Stay updated with accounting and auditing standards and legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an audit role within a practice environment.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
