Cover Supervisor needed long term from September!

- Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday 830-1530
- Daily Rate: up to £135 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school in Weston-super-Mare. This role is ideal for a dynamic educator who is ready to step in and deliver high-quality teaching ensuring that students' education is continuous and effective even in the absence of their regular teacher.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans to ensure continuity of education in the absence of the regular class teacher.
- Adapting teaching methods to fit the needs of the class and individual students.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Providing feedback on student progress and any incidents that occur during the day.
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth transition between regular and supply teachers.
- Being prepared to work across different subjects and key stages as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications: .
- Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to unfamiliar lesson plans and school policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching strategies.
