We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Geography Teacher to join our outstanding department at a secondary School in Crowthorne for maternity cover, lasting two to three terms. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to a forward-thinking team, passionate about raising educational standards and inspiring young minds.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach Geography across all abilities, from entry level to A Level.
- Engage and inspire students through high-quality, innovative teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and teaching materials.
- Collaborate with other department members to enhance the learning environment and academic achievements.
- Participate in departmental meetings, sharing best practices and coordinating on educational strategies.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Geography at various levels, including A Level.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality education and raising standards.
- Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and motivating learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive team player with a passion for education and continuous professional development.
