A well-established St Albans based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the business services team taking control of a portfolio of predominantly owner managed businesses carrying out the year end accounts, tax returns and offering regular advisory to your clients.
The Senior Accountant will have experience using Xero while also having a good knowledge of producing in depth management accounts and corporation tax return returns.

Position Overview
- Handling a portfolio of clients in a very facing role.
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Personal and business tax returns
- Advising and dealing with a number of tax related issues
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts

Position Requirements
- ACCA / ACA or ICAEW qualified
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
- Experience using Xero software is essential
- Experience preparing management accounts for a range of differing clients
- Live in a commutable distance to St Albans
**Senior Accountant
Position Remuneration
- £35,000 - £47,000 per annum
- Mon - Fri 09:00am - 17:00pm
- 20 days annual holiday, plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure (min 3 days, not taken from entitlement).
- Option to WFH two days a week
- Free parking on site, with additional free street parking available.
