Client Billings Manager

Reed Accountancy are currently partnered with a rapidly expanding organisation in the Crawley area who are seeking a Client Billings Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make this role their own and recommend improvements and efficiencies to enhance the client experience and after care journey as the organisation continues to scale at pace.

Client Billings Manager duties and responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring site performance; analysing spend and investigating variances to budget
  • Producing accurate client billing statements and monitoring receipt of invoices
  • Ensuring client queries on billings are resolved quickly and fully
  • Supporting with client tenders from a financial perspective
  • Working closely with the Operations team to ensure costs are fully budgeted for
  • Support wider business with improving the customer journey (i.e. self-billing)
  • Reviewing data accuracy of the project management system

Skills and experience

  • Exposure to project accounting is preferable but not essential
  • A genuine interest in delivering a positive customer experience
  • Strong IT skill and proficiency with MS Office Applications; particularly Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and attention to detail skills
  • Willingness to be flexible and develop within the role as the business grows
  • Experience of using HubSpot is highly desirable
