Our client is a leading company in the travel industry, specialising in developing tours for a global clientele. With operations spanning several European countries.

We are looking for a proficient financial professional to join our client's accounts receivable team. The role involves processing, tracking, and recording payments with precision, efficiency, and timeliness. The Accounts Receivable Assistant will significantly influence daily and ongoing financial transactions, ensuring the company stays on schedule and fosters positive relationships with valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash management tasks, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to accounts.
  • Maintain precise financial records for all receivable transactions and verifications.
  • Ensure accounts receivable ageing is current, apply credits and collections accurately, account for uncollectable amounts, and resolve miscellaneous discrepancies.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers. Work closely with the Operations team to support cash collections and monitor payments according to agreed terms.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to provide financial expertise and support strategic decision-making. Assist the Head of Financial Operations with month-end financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations related to accounts receivable.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Netsuite, Kefron, Tourplan is desirable.
  • Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP's & Pivot Tables)
  • High standards of accuracy and precision
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
