My client are a manufacturer of packaging solutions supplied to retail, medical, industry. They currently have multiple opportunities for machine operators to join their based in Rotherham
The Role
- Assist production with the smooth-running of packaging manufacture machines
- Maintain, clean and document all processes in regards to machine operation
- Assess quality of products produced by machinery
- Ensure operational data is kept in accordance with HSE & ISO procedure
- Safe operation of Aro machines
- Ensure rejects are dealt with efficiently and correctly
- Cost-efficient machine operation
- Replenish stocks of cartons, pallets, paper, bubble, labels and tapes
- Transport finished products to warehouse
- Block non-conformances
The Candidate
- Previous experience working with machining techniques, ideally in packaging
- 5 years + experience in machine operation and fault finding
- Locality to the production plant
- Ability to undertake shift work - rotation - 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am (Shutdown on Friday at 10pm, and Start up on Sunday at 10pm)
The finer details
- £27,000 per annum
- 8 hour days (shift as described above)
