About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to join a growing SME family run business. This newly created role is crucial to supporting our client's ambitious marketing goals as they expand their product and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Online Sales: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase online sales for both B2B and B2C markets.
- Website Management: Manage and update product listings on our bespoke platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform bulk updates using Excel and troubleshoot any issues related to product listings.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media campaigns and customer email campaigns to boost brand visibility and drive sales.
- Internal Communications: Assist with the creation and distribution of internal communications to ensure team alignment.
- CRM Management: Update and maintain the company CRM system to ensure accurate customer information and facilitate effective marketing campaigns.
- Customer Engagement: Provide excellent customer service and support through online chats with customers.
- Multimedia Production: Assist with product photography and video production to create high-quality marketing materials.
- Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of events to promote the company and its products.
Skills and Experience:
- 1+ year of experience in a marketing or marketing admin role.
- Extremely confident using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with marketing software and tools such as CRM, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Experience in website product administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Email marketing proficiency and content creation for social media.
- Customer-focused mindset and self-motivated, proactive approach.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
