Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets on behalf of our client.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Secure specifications for our client's products in construction projects.
  • Present and demonstrate our client's products to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to our client's senior management team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a business development role within the construction sector.
  • Strong background in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience in securing specifications for construction products is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and sales-hungry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
