Gibbs Hybrid require an experienced and dynamic Generalist Banking Solutions Architect who has extensive knowledge and experience within banking: Digital, Payments, Fraud, Financial Crime and Security etc.

  • Banking and Financial services background
  • Digital transformation portfolio experience ideally
  • Good knowledge of middleware, integration, DevOps, networks, security, application, infrastructure and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS)
  • Strong knowledge of service integration principles and automated deployment strategies
  • Experience with large scale enterprise system implementations.
  • Ability to analyse and review output from proof of concepts, system builds, or software runs.
  • Practical experience of developing cost-effective integration strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to customers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of banking/financial services regulation, regulatory enforcement principles and guidelines
  • Experience with on-prem technology (networks servers etc) Infrastructure Architecture
  • Experience within payments/currency programmes would be beneficial.
  • Awareness of regulatory guidelines and necessities around Technology Obsolescence (TechObs)
  • Understanding of Business Growth vs Technology Estate (i.e. is technology capable; scalable; is non-prod fit for purpose etc) and architecting solutions around these problem scenarios)
  • 10+ years SA/Senior SA experience
