ASC Teaching Assistant Wanted for SEN School
A Primary SEN School is seeking a dedicated ASC Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a ASC Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with autism and special educational needs, supporting their educational journey and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with students with autism and special educational needs, providing tailored materials and resources to meet their diverse learning requirements.
- Assist in creating differentiated materials that cater to individual learning styles, abilities, and sensory preferences.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents/guardians to ensure alignment between classroom instruction and support materials.
- Communicate regularly to gather feedback, share insights, and adjust strategies to enhance student success
- Support students in managing challenging behaviours while promoting an inclusive learning atmosphere.
Skills:
- Experience working with SEN children, especially those with autism spectrum conditions
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Proficiency in toddler care and understanding the nuances of working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Able to handle a range of behaviours with empathy and a professional approach
