Maintenance Electrician

Futures are currently recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for a food manufacturer near Manchester. In this Maintenance Electrician role you will be working a rotating shift pattern including regular nights. It is important that you have worked night shifts before with experience of being the sole electrical engineer on site. The successful Maintenance Electrician will have previous experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, be required to work to the PPM schedule on site, attend breakdowns, and ensure all maintenance is carried out effectively. It is important you have good PLC fault finding skills and have worked with PLC controlled machinery and SCADA systems.

Maintenance Electrician - Role and Responsibilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer / PLC Fault Finding / 17th Edition

  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
  • Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualifications or higher (desirable)
  • PLC Fault Finding experience
  • 17th Edition

Maintenance Electrician - Skills and Abilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Food / PLC Fault Finding / 17th Edition

  • Apprenticeship qualified minimum
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough understanding of PPM and TPM
