Are you an experienced Design Engineer? If so, our client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience with automated systems, to work on their site in South Birmingham.

Responsibilities – Mechanical Design Engineer
- Contribute to mechanical design of bespoke automated solutions.
- Preparation of system-level design specifications for manufacturing environments.
- Support production/manufacturing teams to discuss designs and progress of projects.
- Mentor new design engineers and help with their development.
- Produce models, drawings, and line layouts.
Experience/Qualifications Required – Mechanical Design Engineer
- Knowledge of component parts including motors, drives and encoders
- Ability to interpret customer specifications & designs
- Familiar with PUWER and CE Marking.
- Experience with Solidworks preferably.
- Preparation of system-level design specifications
