Recruitment Business Partner / 12-month FTC / Hybrid / London

My client, a reputable non for profit board covering research, safety and standards within their industry, are looking for a Recruitment Business Partner to join them. The primary focus of the role will be to assist with recruitment for the entire business. You should be confident in providing advice to hiring managers, managing suppliers and being present throughout the hiring process.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Deliver the entire in house recruitment function, ensuring all roles are planned and advertised
  • Arrange CV shortlists for hiring managers and schedule interviews
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for candidates
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and provide advice on the hiring process
  • Manage the number of current open vacancies
  • Ensure candidates are kept up to date throughout the process
  • Incorporate all aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Review and improve systems where possible, ensuring they are fit for purpose by users
  • Manage background checks for all new employees
  • Work closely with other areas of the business including finance and HR when new vacancies are filled or advertised

Essential skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years in house recruitment experience, ideally across the entire business
  • Experience in a non for profit / charity or standards board – desirable
  • Experienced in sourcing vacancies, writing adverts and using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter alongside Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Confident in writing/ editing job descriptions and person specification
  • You should be experienced in working with multiple hires/ vacancies concurrently
  • Able to manage candidate experience from initial interview all the way to onboarding
  • Experienced in advising hiring managers
  • Knowledge of all recruitment best practices such as GDPR, AWR and IR35

Package:

  • £54,000 - £60,000 base salary DOE
  • 12-month FTC with potential for extension
