We have an exciting opportunity for an RI Technician within this London/Global Broker
Your Role:
- Review claims data to facilitate the preparation of RI Recoveries, in particular of Excess of Loss covers.
- Respond to Broker and Reinsurer queries relating to claims recoveries.
- Liaising with Claims Departments to obtain loss reports for RI recoveries.
- Calculate potential RI implications for extended claims.
- Enter RI policies on internal systems ensuring premiums are paid in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, Re-insurers, Brokers, Underwriters and Claims Teams.
- Support the work of the credit control team to ensure timely receipt of recoveries.
- Perform peer review for tasks completed by the Offshore RI Teams.
- Capturing cover note information on internal systems to ensure that all correct details are detailed.
- Ensure that high standards of service are maintained and improved where possible.
- Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives.
About You:
- A high level of numeracy and literacy with proven organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise work to KPIs.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to analyse data.
