Overview
We are a growing building service consultancy company working in the Education, Healthcare, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join our team of 14 employees. As a CAD Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects comply with UK regulations and meet our client's needs.
Responsibilities
- Using CAD software to produce detailed engineering drawings for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems within various building sectors.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and company standards in all designs.
- Assisting in the development of CAD standards and procedures within the company.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, preferably in the MEP sector.
- Knowledge of UK regulations and standards related to building services.
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
Day-to-Day
- Collaborating with the project team to understand and deliver on project requirements.
- Using CAD software to create accurate and detailed engineering drawings.
- Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback and requirements.
- Participating in meetings and discussions to ensure effective communication and coordination within the team.
