Reed Engineering are supporting an expanding manufacturing organisation in South Essex with the Recruitment of a Technical / Field Sales person.
Our client is looking to appoint a candidate with both field sales and engineering experience to help expand their market share and customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and contacting potential customers in your assigned territory
- Demonstrating and promoting the features and benefits of their products
- Negotiating prices and contracts with customers and closing sales
- Providing after-sales support and service to customers
- Reporting on sales activities and performance to management
- Regular national travel
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience and proven success in field sales within a technical field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude
- A willingness to travel, with overnight stays when required
- A valid UK driving licence
