As an Oracle Developer, you will perform a critical role within the Retail Technology Solutions team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications and databases.
To give you an idea of how this Oracle Developer role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Databases using PLSQL and SQL to add new features and maintain and support existing systems with an emphasis on performant, robust code
- Optimise and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Support the technical planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects
- Translate business requirements into deliverable technical specifications
To apply for this Oracle Developer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Oracle Apex experience
- Experience in software development processes, tools, and methodologies to improve performance and maintainability
- Experience of application support processes and 3rd party application support management
- Experience of application development processes e.g. MS Azure DevOps
