LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT PARTNER - eLEARNING

Our client, a successful services business in North Bristol just off the M5, is currently looking for a proactive Learning & Development Partner with in depth experience of designing engaging eLearning programs to join their friendly Learning & Development team of 6 to support an employee base of 600-700.The role is hybrid, working 2 days in the office with 3 remote.

You will be designing material, exercises and activities which will support improved performance across the organisation from contact centre and support staff to line managers and senior managers. You will be an agent for change, influencing key stakeholders, making decisions and recommendations on what the business can or should do in a Learning and Development context.

You'll have the ability to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content. Although the role will focus initially on designing eLearning material, there will be plenty of opportunity to develop and encompass the whole learning cycle from TNA to delivery to evaluation. With there being some 'in person' delivery of training, it will need someone with an engaging communication style.

You will be able to work effectively with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs and state instructional end goals to create content - (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc) that matches their requirements. The role will include undertaking research on training methodologies, then apply tested design theories and thereafter design assessment methods to analyse the effectiveness of training.

Person Specification

  • In depth Content Authoring Tool experience (i.e. Storyline, Visme, Adobe, ADAPT, Articulate)
  • Able to evidence fostering and developing a culture of learning and continuous development.
  • Demonstrate the benefits of learning through data, for example highlighting trends and recommending solutions to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Superb communication skills, able to build strong working relationships with business managers, peers and external organisations.
  • A good listener who can use a range of questioning and listening skills to generate brainstorming, discussion and debate, learning and decisions.
  • Facilitate collective and social learning using innovative technological solutions
  • Experience in managing and maintaining an LMS
  • Ensure quality of learning and training delivery through providing feedback to colleagues to ensure continuous improvement of self and others.
  • Proactive and high energy with a passion to help people be the best they can be.
  • We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who can evidence going beyond their remit to add value, who is looking to develop.
