?? About the role

Property Acquisition Associate is the ultimate deal hunter, responsible for scoping out and securing the hottest properties for the company's portfolio. Whether it's canvassing the streets, analysing market trends, or negotiating rental terms with landlords, this role is all about finding and securing the best deals. You'll be a master of organisation, with keen attention to detail and the drive to get things done. With a deep understanding and interest in the real estate market, you'll be a pro at maintaining relationships with current landlords and ensuring that properties are top-notch and meet the company's standards. ?? What you'll be doing:

  • Identifying potential properties for the company's portfolio through canvassing and research.
  • Reaching out to property owners and landlords to inquire about available properties.
  • Supporting your manager in negotiating rental terms and agreements with landlords.
  • Maintaining relationships with current landlords and ensuring that properties are well-maintained and meet the company's standards.
  • Completing paperwork and documentation related to new property acquisitions.
  • Keeping records of all communications and transactions with landlords.
  • Provide regular reports to the management with updates on the progress of their activities and the status of the properties.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company such as legal, finance, and maintenance to ensure smooth acquisition and operations of the properties.

  • Understanding of the real estate market and landlord-tenant laws.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in basic office software and able to work with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for property scouting (canvassing) and/or property visits.
