Job Title: Senior Product Compliance Manager
Location - Bournemouth/Dorset - Hybrid Working
Salary - c£50k
Overview:
A leading UK retailer is seeking a Senior Product Compliance Manager to join their team in Bournemouth. This key role involves ensuring product quality, managing supplier compliance with SEDEX, and overseeing legal compliance across all products.
The Senior Product Compliance Manager is accountable for product quality, monitoring of suppliers' SEDEX compliance, product legal compliance and risk mitigation. They will be accountable for leading the business through all product quality issues ensuring that processes are followed, and risks are mitigated
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Ensure supplier compliance with SEDEX and manage contracts with testing labs, audit houses, and other partners.
- Product Quality: Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, as well as keeping them up to date.
- Risk Management: Maintain product compliance with updated standards, prepare for regulatory changes, and manage ethical and environmental audits.
- Reporting: Regularly report on SEDEX compliance, new regulations, product issues, and audit outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in product compliance, particularly within the retail sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and EU testing requirements, including UKCA.
- Experience with SEDEX compliance and managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
