Job Description

The primary role of the Quality and Engagement Area Manager is to act as the lead and oversee the quality of the service we provide to our customers to ensure that outcomes are met, and to ensure we are compliant with legal obligations, regulatory requirements and our Group policies and processes across multi-sites in a geographical location.

A key focus of this role will be to ensure there is a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the service provision, regularly reviewed through Voice of Customer surveys, feedback from complaints, safeguarding's and customers family members. To work with the branch teams to ensure the wellbeing of our people and that their voices are listened to.

Responsible for timely audit of service delivery records and reporting and monitoring the delivery of improvement plans around customer service and reviewing progress and actions with the Branch Managers and teams

Upskill and develop Branch staff and deliver some aspects of operational training, mentoring and support around care delivery and systems and meeting outcomes for people.

Qualifications

  • 4 years' experience working in the Health and Social Care Sector in a management role
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the social care environment, including regulatory requirements
  • Computer literate with experience of using bespoke systems and all Microsoft office applications including Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience of handling serious complaints and grievances
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Excellent management, leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical with ability to problem solve
  • Strong Team working skills
  • Passionate about service excellence
  • Experience of working with our Local Authorities and Commissioners
