I am currently working with a reputable Law Firm who are looking for a Industrial Disease Solicitor to join theirteam in Blackburn.
Salary up to £45,000 per annum based on experience
Primary responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of litigated cases, particularly in military claims, noise-induced hearing loss, and/or Short Tail and Long Tail Industrial Disease.
- Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and relevant case law.
- Take responsibility for individual cases while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Display commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Achieve financial targets and contribute to team profitability.
- Provide excellent client care and risk management, maintaining compliance with legal standards.
You will:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling complex and high-value military and industrial disease claims.
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and court document drafting.
- Excellent advocacy skills and ability to manage cost budgeting and case management.
- Strong fact-finding and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Good organisational and customer service skills, combined with an assertive and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Office Suite and case management systems such as PROCLAIM.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
